Outline of the Movie:-

Pink is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language social heroic tale film written by Ritesh Shah, and created by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, this film casted Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Tushar Pandey, Piyush Mishra, and Dhritiman Chatterjee.

The film is based in city, illustrious for its atrocities and crime against women. This moving-picture show plot that, 3 ladies was living severally and along Minal Arora (Taapsee Pannu), Falak (Kirti Kulhari) and Andrea (Andrea Tariang). in some unspecified time in the future they are going for night out and came into contact with 3 boys particularly (Rajveer Singh, Vishwajyoti Ghosh, Dumpy a.k.a. Raunak Anand).

Summary:-

The background of movie stated that the three girls - Minal Arora (Taapsee Pannu), Falak Ali (Kirti Kulhari) and Andrea (Andrea Tariang) who are staying together and are normal working professionals in their respective fields. One night, after a rock concert they accept a dinner invitation from Rajveer (Angad Bedi), who is the nephew of a powerful politician from Delhi, and two others to a resort in Surajkund. Rajveer is known to Minal through a common friend. Seeking the opportunity, the three men separate the three girls from each other. Rajveer then tries to molest Minal (Taapsee Pannu) despite her saying NO to him. Minal picks up a bottle and smashes it on Rajveer's eye, leaving him bleeding. So he taken to the hospital and small surgery was done.

Next day Minal, Falak and Andrea trying to go their normal routine. But you can sense that there is something they are refusing to face.

In the meantime their landlord who lives in another area gets a mysterious phone call. The caller tells him to throw the girls out because they are of questionable character.

But once landlord visit and check that everything is fine, and believes they are good girls. But while the landlord in returning home witness the accident. And tell that throw out that girls.

Andrea is also chased by some goondas. Minal is abducted in a van and threatened that she will be raped and killed if she doesn't say sorry to Rajveer.

They also contact the police after this blackmailing happen to them, However when the Police hear that Rajveer is the nephew of Ranjit Singh.

Then the cop tells that the incident took place at Surajkund, the FIR must be lodged there.

So, after this they decide to apologize to Rajveer.

However Rajveer speaks so badly to them, they withdraw their apology. Rajveer and his friends then file a FIR against the girls. They label them sex-workers

Then Falak and Andrea request Deepak to fight her case. Deepak who has left practicing law a while ago because of his mental deterioration is hesitant.

However, seeing that the girls are innocent. And decides to defend them.

Court room scene:

In the courtroom, the prosecuting lawyer, Piyush Mishra does his level best to establish the girls are prostitutes.

However Deepak's argument that whether a girl is a drunk, a sex-worker or a wife...if she says No to a man, then he has no right to force himself on her, swings the case in favor of the girls.

Then after the judge tell any of one girl to clearly speak about that night.

So Minal ready to speak what happened that night. So at the Surajkund resort. The three girls actually attend a rock concert and when one of their male friends Vishwa who is accompanied by Rajveer and Dumpy invites them for dinner they accept. At the resort, the girls agree to have a drink before dinner. However when Andrea wants to use the toilet, Rajveer tells her to go to another room. She goes there with Dumpy who shuts the door. When she is out of the toilet, Dumpy touches her inappropriately. And Rajveer attempts to kiss Minal.

Minal keeps saying ``No, no, no'' but Rajveer don’t listen. In self-defense Minal picks up a liquor bottle and smashes his eye. This act is self-defense not a cold-blooded, planned attack as the prosecutor was trying to establish in the courtroom.

Analysis:

Overall movie is very good; all the character played their role very appropriately.This movie exactly gives a real scenario where the political power and pressure use to blackmail the evidence and witness.I liked the movie very much because of the clear execution of all things.

Conclusion:

Our India is considered as democracy country. Every person has equal rights and liberty; especially women’s rights are very powerful in India.If anyone infringed the rights of women our justice system come in to picture.You must watch this movie because you get a high understanding that how the justice system is working, how the police system is working.And how by the political pressure everything turn in court room.In this movie a real scenario of power- full people shown very clearly.A real courtroom scene was seen in this movie.
