I really liked this movie it was a completely an eye-opener for me. Very informative pretty pragmatic and practical story. This movie is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 2, is a dark comedy film which climaxes the disastrous state of the Indian judiciary which has a corrupted Administrative system, hardhearted senior advocates who aim at an only power and money, who act as safe-houses to lawbreakers rather than safeguarding justice.

A touch of sarcasm on the Indian Legal system, Jolly LLB 2, is an inspiring story of a young, mortified lawyer, ‘Jagdishwar Mishra’ (Akshay Kumar), and his fights to secure justice while struggling a fake-encounter case against one of the most powerful and influential senior lawyers, ‘Promod Mathur’ (Annu Kapoor), and comical Judge ‘Sunder Lal Tripathi’ (Saurabh Shukla).

This movie gives a strong message with full emotions, intriguing storyline. To accomplish his dream, he discovers a way to own a chamber in his own name looking to leave his senior’s office from where he has got only disrespect.

After fooling a client, Jolly, and his family is happy; achieving the dream of possessing a chamber only to be tracked with humiliation with guilt. The story takes a twist where an innocent, ‘victim’ trapped in the corrupt practices of the legal system meets Jolly about his dishonesty. Jolly is suffocated with a feeling of Remorse and melancholy. Jolly takes upon himself the concern of securing justice to his client being responsible.

The character of ‘Huma Qureshi’ as the wife of Jolly was negligible and out of sight, and could have been shaped better.

As the case progresses, it becomes darker and perplexing. With the entire system was corrupt, there was no straight way for Jolly to prove that he is right. He turns into an investigator with everything on stake, Jolly works hard to win the case.

The judge’s awesome verdict could move the audience to an extent that the strong sentiments in the courtroom were reflected in the cinema hall. All set and done, Jolly LLB 2, is a movie, which shows the reality of the legal system, dirty politics behind the law, but leaving with a thought-provoking message.

Perhaps not every lawyer is stonehearted behind the black coat, not every lawyer is blinded.

Since being a law student this story inspired and made me powerful and wonder how it took a massive amount of guilt and bravery on the part of Jolly to actually take the file of ‘Hina Siddiqui’ out of the hundreds of files and making it a victory.

What if jolly was not guilty would have he taken up the case? While I'm still taken aback from the story I would recommend watching this movie so that one can get inspired to make some change to the existing stereotypes.
